Coriander is even mentioned in the bible on a few\noccasions.&nbsp; The Romans are said to have used\ncoriander to preserve meat, flavor breads, and exposed the English to cooking\nwith coriander. Hippocrates, one of history&#8217;s early physicians, used coriander\nfor its medicinal properties.&nbsp; Today\ncoriander is used by many health care practitioners; such as Naturopath\ndoctors, Ayurvedic doctors, Chinese Herbology, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coriander is considered both\nspice and herb, being that its leaves and seeds can be used to season food;\nplease note that the plant\/leaf and the seeds have different flavors and cannot\nbe substituted for each other.&nbsp; Coriander&#8217;s\nflavor is described has having a flavor similar to both citrus peel and sage.&nbsp; Cilantro&#8217;s flavor is somewhat controversial\nin that some people seem to taste soap, or metal, while others describe the\nflavor as a mix of parsley and citrus.
